Hello FTLOB!! Very Happy

Welcome! I'm Deb from Nova Scotia! I am a wah/homeschooling mom of wonderful 6yo twin boys! Nice to meet you!

I am an Independent Consultant for a wonderful new Canadian company called "Athena's Delight" and just decided to add "Epicure Selections" both "gourmet" type companies, but we sell for the most part very different products.

I pray 2006 will be a great year for starting back up into direct sales again!
All the best with your home-based business in 2006 as well! Very Happy

BTW! I use to live outside Peterborough on a farm in Indian River MANY years ago! I'm from Ontario originally.

I just wanted to come over myself and say hello to everyone. I'm new here as well. It looks like us "momprenuers" are going to be able to have coffee together and chat. How nice is that?

Did any of you see the news the other night with a special segment on "mompreneurs". I couldn't believe it. They were talking about how so many of us are working from home to be with our children and how we are all looking to start of own businesses.

Woman are wondreful for multi tasking indeed. How else do we get through the day? They were giving us praise which was quite nice.

Here's to the woman of today....As Oprah said.....

Knowledge is freedom...that why she is who she is today.

I did see the show. It was awesome to have that aired to show others it can be done.

I want to ask all of you, what does being a "mompreneur" mean to you personally. There is no right or wrong answer here.

My answer is, to be able to fulfill my financial lifestyle and have the flexibility to come and go as I choose.

Hi Margaret!
I would have to say "Mompreneur" to me means being able to stay home and raise my children while achieving financial independence in my home based business. This offers me the opportunity to have the flexibility and freedom to do the things I want to do as a stay at home mom, and to contribute personally and financially to the things we feel are important to us.

I'm Cynde, a Winnipeg stay-at-home mom with 2 wonderful sons, Tommy 11 and Sam 14. We also have 3 grown-and-moved-out daughters whom, I’m happy to report, are all doing a wonderful job of raising our 4 beautiful grandchildren.

Hi everyone! I have home based internet businesses. My main focus is my travel business with Traverus Travel. This company is PHENOMENAL!! Sooooo glad it was shared with me and I took advantage of it. I did MUCH research before I decided on this company.
